Industry Relations and Support

AWHONN Canada currently has over 500 active members from across the country. In all, there are more than 5000 perinatal and women's health nurses. They practice at all levels in hospitals, the community, ambulatory care settings, universities/colleges and research institutions. AWHONN members are integral to the many decisions made to improve their patients' health and are crucial partners for industry activity.

Some opportunities for partnerships include: 

1. Sponsorship in a variety of ways at the yearly AWHONN Canada Conference. For example: support for  plenary speakers, health breaks, participant tote bags, national conference welcome reception or become a Platinum or Gold Sponsor - Please see the Sponsor and Exhibit pages under 2009 Conference for more information
2. Ad space in our Newsletter or sponsor a whole Newsletter
3. Sponsor an Award (Practice, Education, Research, Rising Star, Community Star)
4. Support a nurse(s) to attend the yearly AWHONN Canada conference
5. Sponsor all or part of a strategic planning retreat for the Section Executive. Our Executive hails from Vancouver to Halifax
6. Any other ways you would like to contribute
