We hope everyone had a great summer and now fall is officially here. Our AWHONN Canada membership is going strong with 538 members. In order to help this number grow this fall, brochures and posters in both English and French will be sent across Canada to hospitals and nursing schools to increase AWHONN'S visibility, encouraging new members and current members to continue/renew their membership. If you would like to help us by distributing these in your institution, please e-mail Sylvie Paquette at s.paquette@awhonncanada.org or myself at Sabhaas@hotmail.com and we will be pleased to send you some brochures and posters.

Keep an eye out for our brochures and pamphlets and help spread the word! 

Just a reminder that if you help recruit new members you can get rewards through the Recruitment and Rewards Program.  Here is a list of the possible rewards:

1-2 new members: See your name in print! Recruiters will also receive a free gift in the mail

3-5 new members: See your name in print! Recruiters will also receive a free gift of one year membership

6-10 new members: See your name in print! Recruiters will receive a free one year membership and a $50 gift card applicable towards the AWHONN Resource Center 

11-15 new members: See your name in print! Recruiters will receive a free one year membership and a $50 gift card applicable towards the AWHONN Resource Center  and your name will be entered into a draw for a $100 AMEX gift card

16 or more new members: See your name in print! See your name in print! Recruiters will receive a free one year membership and a $50 gift card applicable towards the AWHONN Resource Center and your name will be entered into a draw for a $100 AMEX gift card, a Free 2009 Convention Registration and your name will also be entered into a draw for (2) two travel vouchers ($300 value per voucher).

NEW! Top Recruiter Overall for 2009

In addition to the other prizes, the TOP Recruiter overall for 2008 will have their choice of a four-night stay at the Convention Hotel in San Diego, CA or a $500 American Express gift card!
